I am a safety consultant (product safety and workplace safety) and was employed at 3M for 31 years until November 1, 1999. During my time at 3M, I had safety responsibility for fourteen plants, and am pleased to say that none of my plants received an OSHA citation during that time. Also while at 3M, I was in the product safety department, and none of the products that I was involved with was ever involved in and injury, claim, or recall.
